Propane Gas Detector(C3H8 Detector)

July 29, 2020
Propane is a colorless, liquefiable gas, slightly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and ether, and can form an explosive mixture when mixed with air. Propane has stable chemical properties and is not prone to chemical reactions. It is used as a refrigerant, internal combustion engine fuel or organic synthesis raw material. Propane is often used as liquefied petroleum gas together with butane.
Propane has simple asphyxia and anesthesia effects. Short-term exposure to 1% propane does not cause symptoms; concentrations below 10% cause only mild dizziness; exposure to high concentrations can cause anesthesia and loss of consciousness; extremely high concentrations can cause suffocation. Propane is heavier than air and tends to stay in low places. It has low explosion limit and high risk. Pay attention to the dangers caused by leakage.
It is recommended to use BH-90A, K-600, BH-4S and other types of gas detectors to detect propane gas. It has multiple advantages such as explosion-proof, sensitive response, accurate value, two-level alarm, etc., which can meet the detection of various scenarios demand.
BH-90A protable single gas detector
K-600 portable multi gas detector(with pump)
BH-4S portable multi gas detector
